This quote has a strong meaning to it because when you do something that you know your not supposed to that is considered being dishonest. Also, when you decide that you'll get through life easier if you cheat but your wrong. Why? The reason why is because when you cheat and people realize that you are cheating you'll be judged. For example, if you decide to cheat on the SAT test and you are being secretive about and it turns out you got a good score and they kid next you did as well. The well find out that there is something suspicious either if they know who you are as a person or the way you were acting during the test. It all depends either you want to put in the effort on to achieving what you want in life or you just want to take the easy way in. But if you take the easy way in you 'll end up being in  a lot more trouble than you not cheating. Don't be a rebel just be a person that has all the good character traits , good mind and most of all good personality because if you dont have that you wont be confident and wont become a good person you should become.

I believe that he has a point to this statement. He is saying that it doesn't matter on how you look or some sort what really matters is the good character and personality you have in yourself. When we show people that we are worth more than what they think it shows them that maybe they aren't likely to be those people who have good character. Others may think that people won't like you because you are different or you're just a goodie good. So don't let those people bring you down just do whats right for yourself . Also no one is perfect but in your own mind you have to make your own perfect vision to be able to be happy and most of what dale murphy says is to have good character.
