Health Counselor
Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders
·
Encourage clients to discuss their emotions
and experiences
·
Guide clients through the process of making
decisions about their future
·
Refer clients to other resources or services
in the community, such as support groups or impatient treatment facilities
Salary: $42,250 a year
Education: Master’s degree in psychology, clinical mental
health counseling, marriage family therapy, or a related mental health fields. Bachelor’s
degree, in most fields is acceptable but more preferably a master’s degree.
Demand for Profession: it is expected to grow 20% from 2014- 2024
