this quote states that put all your effort in to something and don't let that effort drop.If you drop all the effort you put into something you will better than anyone else that knows you and whoever doesn't know you. People have role models to look up to like famous people or their parents maybe if you  try you can become someones role model. If someone is bringing you down don't listen to them or don't leave the situation just stand up for yourself and say the truth about who you really are and show them that you have potential to be a better person than them. They will see that you have courage to strand up to what you want to be and to what you believe in and prove to them that you are who you want to be. One example is if someone tells you that your dumb prove to them that oyur not dumb and show them that you are much smarter than what they think you are. Another example is you get bad grades prove to the people around that you can do much better the next time
