" I have been asked what i mean by ' word of honor'. i will tell you: place me behind prison walls- walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground- there is a possibility that in some way or another i might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can i get out of that circle? No. never! I'd die first"

I believe that that this quote is trying to tell us that words are worth more then your actions. In this quote he states his word of honor and his demonstrations are a prison and a circle. If he didn't receive an answer that didn't involve a word of honor for the prions he could get out. But he was given his word to never leave the circle.  He is telling us that once you keep your word you have to stick with it. If you dont then that makes an unreliable person. Doing things that are right make you feel good about yourself but if you dont people will start questioning them. other than that we should always keep our word of honor also it may be known as a promise.  Put yourself  in someone else shoes and see their perspective on how they use their word of honor but remember you have to use it wisely.
