I believe that this quote means that you can be dumb and still have good character. But you can't have bad character if you are intellect. This quote reminds me of the time when this kid felt as if he was dumb but what actually made other think of him as a good person with good character. Have good character can decide if you are actually intellect or your not. Being intellect doesn't prove anything all it does it makes you get good grade and that's it. But having good character you get more. Having good character doesn't just mean helping others but also doing whats right all the time. People should reconsider to think that they should have good character and they should also try on being an intellectual person.
