Richard Steven Valenzuela as known as Ritchie Valens was a singer and a song writer that was born May 13,1941. He is Mexican-American who made Chicano music. He's first song did a huge hit which was "La Bamba" . Unfortunately he had past away at age 17 in a plane crash with his musician buddies. He was the first Latino star to make rock music in to Mexican rhythm . At age 16 he joined his first band named the silhouettes.  The songs he made were , La Bamba, Donna, we belong together, malaguena, lets rock and roll and much more.  Lastly, Ritchie Valens is the first known man to make rock and roll .
