This quote states that if you do things that aren't great  then they have no meaning to what they are because they are bad. But if you do things that sound  and are good then they will guide you to succeed in life. Some examples of that may be popular that is sound and good are like not stealing, lying, play be the rule, be respectful, trustworthy, and other things. Doing things that involve sound and good are a way to become a better person with good character. But if you do things that are unsounder then that means that you are probably doing something that you are not supposed to do. Think about the things that will actually help you become a person who is good than to rather be a person who is bad. Being a better person will make you realize that it feels great when people are following your foot steps  because you know what ever you are doing you are doing the good things and not putting a bad perspective on yourself and others. if we make watch other realize that we are doing something that has meaning to it Will can make everyone think in a good way. People now a days  look at followers on social media and those people who watch the other people do bad they'll think its okay because the other person didn't get caught.
