The quote said by George Chapman is very astonishing because the only thing that beats something bad is doing something good. Everyone could do something good unless they want to put the effort and try to be successful at doing something that is supposed to be right. Also, People may think that if your doing something that your supposed to that makes you a good person. But in fact it really isn't. Why? The reason why is because no one really cares if you do what you have to do but if you show affection to things, being generous to other  people well then that is really being true to yourself and being a good person to those who may be less unfortunate or to the people around you. Don't be a person who thinks they are a good person all because they did something good. Be a person who always does good things and is good to the people around you.
